Warranty Coverage
TimberTech products are engineered the right way, to last. And many are covered by industry-leading warranties. See full warranty details.
Can CONCEALoc Hidden Fasteners be used on angles?
Yes, any angle up to 45 degrees can be achieved. On angles, offset the center of the fastener 13 mm towards the long point of the joist so the screw will not exit the side of the joist when driven. Reference our Installation Resources page.
Do the CONCEALoc and FUSIONLoc clips match the decking colours?
While CONCEALoc and FUSIONLoc clips are not colour-matched to our decking, CONCEALoc (offered in Brown) and FUSIONLoc (offered in Black) are meant to blend in with the framing in the gaps between deck boards for a flawless, fastener-free surface.
Do I need to gap my boards when I’m using CONCEALoc Hidden Fasteners?
The CONCEALoc fastening system provides consistent spacing between the sides of the boards, but a deck spacer can be used in combination with the built-in spacing of the CONCEALoc clips. For end and butt joint spacing, please see the installation resources for instructions.
What are the CONCEALoc Hidden Fasteners made of?
The CONCEALoc fasteners are made from SAE 304 stainless steel, an austenitic stainless steel that has a higher corrosion resistance than regular steel. The hand-driven screws are stainless steel, while the pneumatically driven screws are coated carbon.
Can I use CONCEALoc fasteners with steel or aluminum framing?
No, CONCEALoc fasteners are not compatible with steel or aluminum framing since the screw is driven at a 45-degree angle through the clip and into the joist.
